We're happy to announce that the Auchinawa 2010 Discussion Forum is now open! Come on in and get to know your fellow Auchi attendees before the convention in November.

In addition to the website and forum, there are a whole host of other ways to interact with the Auchi community:

Facebook
With so many of our attendees using Facebook it seemed logical to try and connect with them. Our group on Facebook has already started planning the first pre-Auchinawa meetup in Glasgow. Anyone is free to come along for what should be a fun day out. If you have a Facebook profile, why not become a fan of Auchinawa?

Twitter
We recently started using Twitter as a means to post out quick snippets. Besides being able to post brief information instantly, it also allows comittee members to answer any questions regarding the event. Feel free to add us and send accross any questions or suggestions you may have.

Flickr
We have a group on Flickr now dedicated to posting any images of the event. If you have past event photos then please share them with the group! Hopefully content should build up rather quickly and as we’ve been running since 2006, think about how much has changed!

deviantART
With the birth of deviantART groups, we’ve founded a place to host your fanart! If you’re a member of deviantART feel free to post any anime/japan/Auchinawa related content. We look forward to your submissions and who knows, there may even be competitions for our favourite artwork!

Also in the works are subscription links. By using your choice of RSS or eMail, you can get instant updates whenever a new announcement is posted. This feature should be available soon.

Registrations will open over the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out. We’ll post on our Twitter feed as soon as registrations go live, but remember, places were sold out in 9 days last time, so you had better be quick!
